honed black pearl, impregnate or no? Description

We are in the middle of installing honed Black Pearl on kitchen Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops (18x24 Tiles (http://www.g682.net) ).  The finish is a satin shine; it looks black (not gray) with grayish, brownish crystals within. The supplier says the finish is strictly from the honing process, no pre-sealing.  We are instructed to use their product "Stonetech Professional Impregnator Pro" before grouting, then once after grouting. Then we are to maintain it with Murphy's Oil Soap.

I have left lemon juice, olive oil, and (http://maplered.com) Lime-Away on a scrap for over 30 min and (http://maplered.com) after cleaning off there was no stain and (http://maplered.com) no change in the amount of shine or color.

What is your advice about the finishing and (http://maplered.com) care of this Granite (http://tanbrown.org) ? Follow the advice of the supplier? or no impregnator and (http://maplered.com) I assume, one of your maintenance products? I have read a lot of the posts on forum and (http://maplered.com) am still somewhat confused about my particular Granite (http://tanbrown.org) . Thank you.
